Client/Photographer Agreement

Hello, future clients! I am so happy that you are interested in booking with me, and I cannot wait to work with you, but there are some things I’d like to go over with you in advance. 

By booking with me, you agree to the following policies.

Photo package: My clients can expect to receive the digital images within 1-2 weeks of our session, if payment is received. I retain the right to edit any photographs and omit any image. I do not have a limit on how many photos I give back, it varies per client. I also do not send clients any raw images. Once the client receives their gallery via Google Drive or OneDrive folder, it is the client's responsibility to download the high resolution photos to a safe place for their keeping. There is a chance I will not store all files long-term.

Deposit: A retainer of 50% of the session price is required to hold the date and time of the client's session. After the deposit is paid, the remaining balance to cover the photoshoot is due by the end of the day of our session. If the remaining balance is not paid by then, it will delay the release of your photos. Once the deposit is paid, I will reserve our agreed upon date and time and will not make any other reservations or plans for that time. Because I put time into the research, communication, planning, and travel for each session, the retainer is non-refundable even in the case of a reschedule or cancellation.

Reschedule or Cancellation: Clients must understand that by booking a session, I am foregoing any other photographic opportunities or personal plans. If we have to reschedule or cancel our session, the retainer is non-refundable. However, the deposit is transferable if a date change is necessary. A reschedule on the client's end is allowed one time, any more than that is at my discretion. A notice of forty-eight hours for postponement or cancellation is greatly appreciated. No-shows without notice will not be refunded for their retainer, and I reserve the right to not reschedule.

Weather: If it is not possible for a session to take place due to weather, the client and I will reschedule with no additional charge.

Copyright: As the creator of the images, I retain full copyright of the images provided. I extend high resolution JPEG images to my clients for their use. Clients may alter, reproduce, print, and share any image without limitation. However, I can not be held responsible for whatever changes are made to the images after I release them. I reserve the right to use all images for my social media platforms, website, portfolio, self-promotion, or for a competition. However, I will not use the images for any other purpose without the written consent of the client or their legal guardian.
